Hap-pea Birthday!
Family birthdays in early January come round so soon after Christmas and some years I'm not that prepared! This fun make uses a Hap-pea stamp by Zinski Art for Funky Fossil which came as a free gift with a recent order.
Images coloured with promarkers and paired with a film strip die. One of the peas cut out and added on his own, arms and legs drawn with a black fine liner pen just to give him a bit more character. My inky background was a trial run using my new gelli plate with inks, water & a stencil - will definitely be experimenting a lot more.
Sentiment white heat embossed on some orange cardstock to match the matt layer. A few clear enamel dots to embellish. Can't help thinking the pea pod could be a pair of lips if they were coloured red/pink! Now that would make an interesting card!
I've used - 6x6" white card base
Funky Fossil stamp - Hap-pea by Zinski Art
Funky Fossil die - Film Strip
Funky Fossil stencil - Herringbone
Funky Fossil enamel dots
VersaFine Clair inks - verdant & summertime
Promarkers
