Friendship Flower

I'm starting the New Year off with another slimline card.  I was lucky enough to win a matching stamp and die set from Julie Hickey Designs in one of her draws at the end of last year, this is my first play with them.

I've used white pearlescent card for all the elements as I like the subtle sheen it gives.  On a stitched rectangle panel I blended three colours of distress oxide inks using wilted violet, shaded lilac and squeezed lemonade.  The large twin flower stamp was stamped and die cut.  I decided to leave the petals and leaf cut outs in the design as I liked the look once added to the inked panel rather than leave the design open.  Sentiment tag stamped, fussy cut and added with foam pads.  The row of three hearts were stamped top and bottom to draw your eye diagonally across the card.
I've used - white DL slimline card base
Julie Hickey Designs Friendship Flower stamp & die sets
Creative Craft Products slimline stitched nestables die
White pearlescent cardstock
Versafine Clair monarch ink pad
Distress Oxide inks
