Woodware Bubble Bauble
Just love this bubble style Christmas bauble stamp from Woodware designed by Jane Gill which I've combined with pattern papers.
I took a sheet of deep blue paper from Funky Fossil's Shibori paper pad that reminded me of a night sky with a hint of snow at the bottom and stamped/embossed the bauble/sentiment with white EP. From a different sheet of paper from the same pad I stamped just the bow and paper pieced that on top adding some shading with a pencil. Down either side I added die cut torn edge strips.
Then came some die cut circles for the larger bubbles, to my eye they are trees on a snowy hilltop. Even smaller circles were die cut from a silver glitter adhesive sheet. The rest of the bubbles were covered with glossy accents. Definitely a labour of love die cutting/sticking them all in place but quite a dramatic overall effect.
I've used - 6x6" white card base
Woodware JGS771 Bubble Bauble and Pine Branch stamp set
Funky Fossil Shibori paper pad
Xcut metallic adhesive glitter sheet

Fabulous stamp and looks really dramatic against the dark blue background.Love all the fiddly paper piecing but well worth the effort

Love that gorgeous deep blue paper. The white heat embossing looks so striking against it. Great job on paper piecing the bow and on doing torn edges down the sides. Thanks so much for joining us at Peace on Earth!
