Uniko Geometric Blocks

Image
First make with a new stamp set with blocks of geometric patterns.  Here I've used all five of the individual blocks and one of the sentiment stamps.  A second entry for Uniko's 12th birthday link up party. Blocks stamped and heat embossed with Wow EP then selective areas coloured with alcohol markers.  One block cut out and added with 1mm foam pads as a diamond centrepiece.  I've chosen a pretty colour combination from the current  Color Hues  challenge of lilac and mint (used closest colours I have) and accented the heart with white gel pen dots but these blocks would be perfect for masculine or generic makes too.  Sentiment stamped with DO ink. I've used - 135 mm sq white card base Uniko Bauhaus Blocks stamp set WOW! Lavender Fields EP Promarkers - Orchid, Turquoise Distress Oxide - peacock feathers Linking up with - Uniko's 12th Birthday                               Color Hues                                 Time Out                       Link Party

Have A Tweet Day

Occasionally I pop into one of my local charity shops as they often have some craft items donated, found a grey rubber stamp set for £1 with images that would compliment my stash so just had to be bought.  The stack of books and swirls are from that set which I've paired with some Funky Fossil items. Started with a piece of designer paper for a ready made background.  I love the sun peeking above the rolling hills in this magical mysterious place ideal to place a focal image in the foreground.  Stack of books and the fun quirky bird stamped, fussy cut and coloured with a mixture of watercolour paints and colouring pencils.  Swirls and sentiment stamped and white heat embossed on the background.  Bird's legs stamped on the background and feet on the top book before adhering the focal images with 1mm foam pads.                    I've used - 120x170mm white card base to fit a B6 envelope Funky Fossil Dreamscapes paper pad Funky Fossil The Tweets stamp set Sheena Douglass A Li

Floral Birthday Celebration

Image
Sharing a fresh looking birthday card in a wreath builder style with a soft Spring colour palette. These stylised flowers were put together using stamps from Uniko's Mid Century Modern Florals set using my stamp platform and a wreath builder tool which helps to keep a symmetrical design.   Added a butterfly on 1mm foam pads and a block sentiment strip in the centre.  Panel layered onto matching pastel card.   I've used - 14.5cm sq white card base Uniko stamp sets:  Mid Century Modern Florals, English Country Garden Butterflies &  Simply Said Blocks VersaColor inks: heliotrope, canary & grape Memento inks: bamboo leaves & london fog Linking up with - Uniko's 12th Birthday                               Time Out #257                  Beautiful Blossoms #14 Linky Party                                              10th Birthday!                 Anything Floral Goes         Thank you for visiting - I'd love you to leave a comment if you have time -  Steph x

Uniko Floral Butterfly

Image
This card features the large organic butterfly stamp from December's Papercraft Society box 51 designed by Uniko as a focal point coloured with watercolour pencils. On a piece of aqua card stock a few of the floral images were randomly stamped and clear heat embossed for a tone on tone background.  Butterfly and sentiment stamped on watercolour card and again clear heat embossed before colouring with watercolour pencils, something I rarely do but did enjoy, before die cutting out.  Luckily the sentiment fitted inside one of the leaf dies to give a more interesting edge rather than cutting it straight.  Butterfly mounted on 1mm foam pads, sentiment mounted on a second leaf die cut.  A few enamel dots and stickles on the butterfly as finishing touches. I've used - 120x170mm white card base to fit a B6 envelope   items from   Papercraft Society Box 51 Uniko Ranger glacier white enamel accents Ranger frosted lace stickles Linking up with -  Krafty Chicks                         Sta
