Autumn Fox

I do love Autumn and this card showcases the rich colours of the season.  I followed another YouTube free live workshop by Funky Fossil's Sarah Gray on HTCN and again this is my take on one of her cards using what I had in my stash.

The frame is a patchwork of die cut squares from a paper pad adhered to cardstock with the centre aperture cut away and a piece of acetate added behind.  Each square edge was lightly inked.  On the card base I sponged distress oxide inks through a forest glade stencil in shades of green, orange and red.  The green area also uses a torn paper edge to give the foreground some depth.  The trees were edged with a brown pen adding some bark markings on the lower trunks.  Foam tape then gave the frame a little lift from the background.

Fox stamped, hand cut and added to the bottom of the scene along with scattered stamped leaves coloured with pencils.
I've used - 6x6" white card base
Funky Fossil Kaleidescope paper pad
Funky Fossil forest glade stencil
Distress oxides: cracked pistachio/evergreen bough,
wild honey/spiced marmalade, abandoned coral/fired brick
Funky Fossil stamp set Forest Friends
Faber Castell Polychromos
