CAS Christmas Sparkle

Sharing a card for September's CAS Christmas challenge where the prompt is Sparkle and/or Shine.

On a panel of linen cardstock I lightly brushed tumbled glass distress ink through a stencil to create a soft background for the sentiment which has been die cut from a metallic silver glitter sheet and stacked with two other white layers underneath.  Adapted a gilding-flake resist tutorial in a magazine to make a sparkly watercolour piece with white & silver super sparkle EP and turquoise brusho from which I die cut lots of stars (two of which I've used on this card) plus some other festive die cuts which I'll use on future cards.

Edged the finish panel with more sparkle EP before mounting on the card base

I've used - A6 white card base
Creative Expressions by Sue Wilson - Contemporary Happy Christmas die
Xcut metallics adhesive glitter sheet
Creative Dies - Wonky Stitches Nesting Stars
Turquoise Brusho; Personal Impressions white & super sparkle EP
Funky Fossil stencil - Watercolour Lines
Distress Ink - tumbled glass
