Funky Fossil Happiness Blooms

Combined a patterned stencilled background with a focal flower stamped on scraps of patterned paper with two positive sentiments - 'stand tall' and 'Happiness blooms'.  We lost several potted plants to the hard frosts we had over winter, the flowers always stood tall and were lovely to see from the kitchen window.  Two out of the five have survived so I'm looking forward to some happy blooms soon.

The sunray stencil was inked using distress oxides then with a stamp in my hand I stamped randomly into the white areas with blue ink to create some sky texture.  The flower stem with leaf was stamped onto the background and next to it one of the sentiments 'stand tall'.  The flower and leaves were stamped onto scraps of patterned paper and fussy cut.  One leaf was paper pieced onto the stem.  The main flower head is raised up on foam pads.

'Happiness blooms' sentiment stamped and heat embossed with white EP onto vellum and attached over two of the sunrays.  There are some white gell pen highlights and stickles too in places.

I've used - 6x6" white card base
Funky Fossil Twin Blooms stamp set by Dellow Designs
Funky Fossil Kaleidescope paper pad
Distress oxides - squeezed lemonade, wild honey
Versafine Olympia Green ink
WOW opaque bright white EP
