Julie Hickey Designs Sent with Love

I do love this image of an envelope with flowers bursting out at the top from Julie Hickey Designs 'Sent with Love' stamp set.  Ideal for so many different occasions.  I've gone for a muted colour palette for this card, next time I'll do a vibrant one.  After stamping & heat embossing with gold EP I coloured the image with polychromo pencils and fussy cut.  The two main flowers were stamped again and adhered over the top for added dimension with 1mm foam pads.

The background panel was lightly sponged around the edges with wild honey & spiced marmalade distress oxides and over stamped with tumbled glass & scattered straw distress inks with stamps from Julie Hickey designer series 'Circles Medley' set by Hazel Eaton.  Main image added on top at a slight angle.  You might just be able to see the words 'laugh' 'believe' and 'love' stamped close to the edges of the envelope on the background.

I've used - 6x6" white card base
Julie Hickey Designs stamp sets -  Sent With Love & Circles Medley
Faber Castell Polychromos; Distress Inks & Oxides
