CAS Stencil January - use a new stencil
We all need some colour in our lives to get us through these dull winter days so decided to use a rainbow effect to mark CAS Stencil Challenge celebrating its 1st birthday. This month's prompt was to use a new stencil and I chose to brush inks over a mesh stencil I bought at the end of last year, one of a range brought out by Woodware.
After masking off part of the stencil where I wanted the sentiment to go I brushed over six distress oxide inks then heat embossed with clear EP to keep the vibrant colours and shine as I used a pearl base card. Inks were used in this order - wilted violet, shaded lilac, cracked pistachio, squeezed lemonade, wild honey & picked raspberry. A music style die cut sentiment was embossed with black sparkle EP to add even more glimmer.
