Sanntangle ATCs

Recently I took part in an ATC swap with crafty friends on CraftWorld where the theme was florals using green, blue and pink colours.  These are the ATCs I created for my crafty friend swap partner which are a mix of stamps and my own hand drawn tangles, together with the card I made to send with them.

The backgrounds were simply created with distress inks spritzed with water on a gelli plate.  My starting point was some of the Sanntangle stamps that came in May's Papercraft Society Box which were stamped in green ink.  I've included a picture to show the stamps I used as I then drew other tangles to extend the designs and create the stems/leaves etc.  Used polychromo pencils to colour and a white gel pen for added highlights.  I love the magenta colour pencil and use that to blend with a lot of other colours.

On the front of the card is one of the patterned papers from the Sanntangle box.  One of the larger stamps has been heat embossed with white EP and another patterned paper strip placed across the middle so 'Friend' could be stamped.  I had some little off cuts left over from my previous paper weaving card so that was cut with a flag bunting die and adhered at the top with a few more hand drawn tangles.  Created a card holder insert for the ATCs to be displayed inside.

I've used -
Papercraft Society May box 44 by Sandra Rushton Sanntangle
Black fine liner pen, white gelly roll pen
Faber Castell Polychromo pencils
Distress inks; 5x7 cream card base
