Brusho Floral Birthday
I'm still experimenting with making Brusho backgrounds, this one I'm happy with as it turned out really delicate. I have to learn when to stop spritzing with water and leave the ink to do it's magic! I found the mixed media die locally in The Works and used some of the cut out shapes grouped together in fours to add interest to the adjacent white space.
The flowers were created using another purple Brusho scrap underneath the delicate white layer with centre pearls. Added a few yellow butterflies as a finishing touch and a stamped sentiment.

I've used - 5x7 white card blank
Creative Expressions coconut white card
Brushos - purple & yellow
Unbranded mixed media die
Crafters Companion Floral Fantasy dies
Papermania white adhesive pearls
Sue Wilson butterflies die
Mag freebie sentiment stamp

What a lovely delicate card! Colours are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis card is stunning! Your brusho background is gorgeous and I love the partial background die, purple flowers and diamond foursomes scattered about. Very nicely done! Thanks for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, the yellow/gold is a great highlight to the purple. Love the collage die. Emmax
ReplyDeleteSteph, you've created a beautifully layered card with her lovely die-cuts. The soft Brusho colours in the background compliment the delicately coloured die-cuts beautifully. A stunning creation. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
