Hello, Friend
Watched a lovely demo by Toni Darroch (Stamps by Me) on her How To Craft YouTube channel recently which inspired me to make this card. Such an easy technique to try and a really lovely effect. I did use my paper trimmer which has a score wheel as I found scoring by hand with a ball tool on a score board made the channels too wide and didn't look as neat. After scoring a square grid on some white card I stamped these much loved forest friends silhouette style stamps in black ink. I go back to this set time and time again, apart from this cute squirrel there is a badger, fox, hare/rabbit as well as toadstools, mushroom & flowers. In Toni's demo she cut a stencil from another piece of card stock for the background inking, I found that to be too thick so used a piece of die cut stencil sheet instead as much thinner. You only need a right angle mask to brush the ink upwards on one corner of selected grid squares so copy paper is another good alternative. Used four colourful
