Marine Life

A lovely crafty friend gifted me some marine life images last year and I've spent a few hours happily colouring this large whale with kelp fronds in its underwater setting using basic colouring pencils then water coloured the hexagon shapes with brushos.  Added some extra bubbles here and there with black & white fine liner pens. Gave the whale a little turtle swimming companion, coloured, cut out and shaped to give its shell a more natural rounded look.

The background was simply stamped with a distress elements stamp in grey and I added a little coloured and cut out starfish at the bottom.  Decided not to add a sentiment on the front just to ring the changes.  I don't normally craft with such a large all-in-one image so this made a lovely change for me.

I've used - 6x6" white card base
Gifted images; Colouring pencils; Brushos - leaf green & yellow
Funky Fossil distress elements stamp
