Sanntangle Beehive

Image
A card to share that I've hand drawn from a live that Sandra Rushton did on Crafting Together with All Brands FB page recently.  We start with an inked tile (8.2 cm square); for mine I chose a yellow tile from her sorbet pack inking with squeezed lemonade and wild honey distress oxides around the edges and through a honeycomb stencil in the middle. The design is a beehive hanging from a flowery branch with a couple of bees buzzing around all hand drawn with a black micron pen.  Shading is added with a pencil, softened with a paper stub then white highlights with a pastel pencil and gelly roll pen. To make this little piece of art into a card I chose a piece of designer paper and hand drew the outer border adding a white die cut frame inside and then the tile mounted on some bright orange cardstock.  No sentiment on the front as I didn't want to cover up any of my design. Rainbow Love Ewe & Thank Ewe cards
